What You’ll Do
Discover & Develop Opportunities
- Take full ownership of the client acquisition process, from lead generation and initial outreach to shaping proposals and deal closure.
- Initiate conversations with potential clients, identifying their key challenges and helping frame the “problem worth solving.”
- Apply a consultative, value-driven approach to early-stage discussions, always looking for where Futurice’s capabilities can create lasting impact.
- Work with internal experts to shape meaningful PoC, MVP, or first project proposals that open the door for long-term collaboration.
- Collaborate with marketing to co-create events, content, and outreach formats that build visibility, generate leads, and nurture relationships.
Build Meaningful Relationships
- Engage with innovation leads, digital product owners, and transformation teams to explore mutual opportunities.
- Stay close to client needs and goals—evolving the conversation over time into something real and valuable.
- Spot cross- and upsell opportunities as relationships deepen.
Collaborate Across Competencies
- Partner with design, tech, and strategy teams to craft relevant, tailored proposals and pitch material.
- Be a connector across disciplines—ensuring everyone’s expertise is brought into the conversation early and effectively.

- Proactively drive your own outreach and opportunity development efforts.
- Maintain and grow your sales pipeline with a structured, data-informed approach.
- Collaborate closely with the business development and leadership team, sharing your thinking and learning from others.
What You Bring
Early Career Experience & Innovation Mindset
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in consulting, digital agency, tech ventures, or corporate innovation.
- You’ve had touchpoints with digital product or service development and understand concepts like design thinking, PoCs, and MVPs.
- You’ve worked in or around cross-functional teams and get what it takes to move from idea to execution.
Tech & Business Curiosity
- You don’t need to be a developer, but Python, AI, and modern tech stacks shouldn’t sound foreign. Be interested in technology and work with our teams to learn about technologies, hyperscalers and architecture.
- You’re eager to deepen your understanding of how digital technologies create business value.
- You follow trends in emerging technologies and innovative business models.
Entrepreneurial, Agile, Hands-On
- You’re proactive and independent, but love to collaborate.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, you’re ready to navigate uncharted territory and create structure where needed.
- You’ve worked in agile environments and enjoy the pace and learning they bring.

- Fluent in German (native or near-native) and English (business proficiency).
- Willing to travel occasionally to clients and Futurice offices across Germany.

Compensation
Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities, and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive, advance in their career, and grow. During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.Next steps
