We’re looking for a Senior-level Project Manager to join our team at Futurice. You’d be working with our collaborative, cross-functional product teams to deliver intuitive, impactful and accessible digital solutions. We’d like to bring in someone who will contribute to our team's success in achieving a client’s aims and ensuring their experience of a project is as positive as the end result.

As a Senior at Futurice, your primary focus remains hands-on project management while you begin to develop the skills needed to take on greater responsibility. You start building your capabilities in client relationships, project leadership, and collaboration, while still deeply involved in delivering high-quality work. At the same time, you gain experience in mentoring others, influencing decisions, and contributing to the growth of Futurice and our client partnerships.

Sound like you?

  • You have an interest in the transformative possibilities of digital projects and enjoy working with people to bring out the best in them.
  • You understand and respect different disciplines, whilst helping the team function and progress as a single entity.
  • You create structure to help drive through uncertainty, and do this while monitoring the project health and supporting the overall engagement lead.
  • You like the idea of a low hierarchy organisation and enjoy facilitating and organising sessions to promote collaboration.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a head for numbers
  • Experience with implementing Project Management in both Agile and Waterfall environments
  • You understand the difference between a team working in an agile environment and a waterfall one and can coach teams in the right direction. Similarly, you understand the difference between a fixed cost and time and materials engagement when it comes to project managing.
  • You have experience in helping organisations adopt and implement Agile best practices.
  • A keen interest in and familiarity with how software is built and delivered, including knowing when things are technically easy or difficult
  • Team player experienced in dealing with clients and facilitating their requirements

What you will be responsible for

  • Supporting projects from start to finish
  • Support the project lead with planning, estimation, capacity planning and managing project financials.
  • Facilitating project management, timesheet review, logging expenses, bookings, note/ action logging and similar tasks
  • Planning and helping to implement appropriate delivery best practices (waterfall, agile etc)
  • Facilitating retrospectives and sharing of learning to help teams improve ways of working
  • Clear communications with team and client, as well as creation of project tracking materials
